Danny Clemens recently served as the Director of Facilities for Bullitt County Public Schools, where he led efforts in new construction, renovations, and ongoing maintenance across the district. In addition to this role, he was the Principal of Specialized Programs, overseeing a diverse portfolio that included Bullitt Virtual Learning Academy, the Bullitt Advanced Math and Science Program, the Career Readiness Center, the Campbellsville University Criminal Justice partnership, the Bullitt Alternative Center, and Sunrise Spring Meadows Children's Home.
With a career spanning 27 years, Danny has held leadership roles at every school level, serving as both a principal and assistant principal in high school and elementary settings. His experience also includes work as a high school and middle school guidance counselor, a college and career readiness leader, and a classroom teacher.
Danny attributes his passion for tailoring individualized educational experiences to his work in both inner-city and suburban environments. He earned a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Morehead State University, along with a master’s degree in counseling and a Rank I certification in school administration from Western Kentucky University. In 2022, he received the Bullitt County Chamber of Commerce Innovation Award and was recently honored as a Kentucky Colonel.
